About The Position
Shipping and handling position available in Blum, TX 1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm $17.00 DIRECT HIRE Will be responsible for the coordination of timely shipments of quality products and receiving of production materials and consumable supplies into the inventory system. Operate forklift. Prepare cover page for receiving inspection and combine with traveler and mark plates for ID. Prepare BOL. Data entry of all shipments. Maintain confidentiality of information where required. Knowledge of general computer programs (Microsoft, emails internet) Write routine correspondence, reports, and procedures. basic math skills. Operate: overhead cranes, jibs, forklift, trucks and other equipment necessary in the movement of materials to perform the job. experience with expediting shipments. 0-2 years' experience.
