About The Position

MAU is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for our client in Conyers, GA. As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will oversee the receipt, inspection, documentation, and shipment of materials, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to the appropriate destinations.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
• 1-3 years in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Forklift skills required; certification preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods, use hands and fingers efficiently, and move freely throughout the facility
• Fast-paced, high-volume setting requiring strong attention to detail
• Proactive, able to work independently without supervision
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and have the ability to bend, stoop and reach

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and products against shipment records
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures
• Supervise receiving and shipping processes, ensuring compliance with procedures
• Oversee the inspection of goods and maintain records of damaged, defective, or discrepant items
• Document time, date, quantity, source, and destination of received or shipped materials
• Ensure proper documentation, including certified weight tickets, to verify accurate product receipt
• Match shipment details such as date and truck/trailer number to ensure accuracy
• Verify product weight using certified CAT scale records, ensuring correct purchase amounts
• Ensure timely shipment of goods to manufacturing facilities, customer locations, or distribution centers
