About The Position
Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Piscataway, as the Shipping/Receiving. Safety operates a forklift to move materials to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks. Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or using lifting devices, such as forklifts. Perform routine pre-and post- inspections on forklift equipment to ensure operational safety. Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and labeling of materials. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Communicate effectively with warehouse and production staff to ensure efficient material handling and movement. Report any mechanical or operational problems with the forklift to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
