About The Position

The Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Coordinator oversees all warehouse operations, including material receiving, inventory control, parts picking, packing, and outbound shipping. This role ensures accurate documentation, efficient material flow, proper storage, and on‑time shipment of finished goods. The position requires strong organizational skills, and experience working in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. Location and Reporting This position is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma; however, periodic travel may be required to support business operations and project needs. Purchasing Manager Purchasing

Requirements

  • 3+ years of warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience (manufacturing preferred).
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of material handling, freight coordination, and inventory control.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (material transactions, receiving, shipping).
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other lifting equipment (certification preferred).
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to lift materials and work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma required; additional logistics or supply chain training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory activities.
  • Ensure all materials are unloaded, checked in, labeled, and stored correctly.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse layout for efficient flow and accessibility.
  • Manage picking, packing, and staging orders for production and outbound shipments?
  • Ensure accurate counts and traceability for raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight with internal carriers, including LTL, FTL, and parcel?
  • Verify accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders and inform purchasing of and discrepancies.
  • Inspect received materials for damage, quality issues, and proper specs before acceptance.
  • Schedule pickups, deliveries, between Tulsa and Inola facilities.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels using Excel Spreadsheets and/or ERP/MRP systems.
  • Conduct an inventory of all material in the Containers outside of warehouse.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory in warehouse.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and report them to purchasing manager.
  • Monitor storage conditions to ensure safety, organization, and material protection.
  • Supervise shipping and receiving assistant.
  • Collaborate daily with production, purchasing, and quality departments.
  • Enforce safety rules, OSHA standards, and proper PPE use.
  • Oversee use of forklifts, pallet jacks.
