About The Position

The position involves handling materials within the facility, including loading and unloading them as they enter and leave. The role requires the use of a forklift and overhead crane to manage these tasks effectively. Quality assurance is a key responsibility, which includes checking, packing, and unpacking materials to ensure they are in working condition. Additionally, the position involves managing parts and inventory cycle counts, as well as lifting parts as necessary. The employee will also be responsible for completing delivery and pickup paperwork for equipment rented to customers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane safely.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork.
• Basic understanding of inventory management and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials as they enter and leave the facility using forklift and overhead crane.
• Check, pack, and unpack materials for quality assurance.
• Perform parts and inventory cycle counts and lift parts as needed.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork for rented equipment.
• Answer phone calls and communicate with customers regarding job issues, pricing, and equipment rentals.
• Type up rental or sale quotes as per customer requests.
• Notify sales staff and management of new rentals and any concerns regarding orders, pricing, or invoicing.
• Communicate daily with fellow employees.
• Multitask and maintain attention to detail in all tasks.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Perform all tasks requested by supervisors.
• Attend all safety and training classes as required.
• Follow all safety rules and company policies.
