Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator for our Dallas Warehouse. As a Shipping and Receiving Technician for IPS you will be responsible for physical and transactional incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying and storing records and loading and unloading trucks.

Requirements

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to stay late at end of month to complete customer commitments
Ability to lift, push or pull items up to 70 lbs. in weight
Proven ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written
Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment
Knowledge of light equipment operation and/or maintenance
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork
Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record
Must successfully pass a background and drug test

Responsibilities

Prepares shipments for postal or commercial conveyance; determines most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery
Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from vendors/customers
Inspects shipments for damages or defects
Traces lost shipments, processes and tracks claims for shipments; initiates proof of delivery maintains department database, prepare routine reports, and file shipping/receiving records
Builds/assembles crates to ensure a robust package for customer shipments
Maintain cleanliness and organization of Shipping/Receiving area / warehouse
Will operate cranes, dolly’s, pallet jacks, and/ forklift’s in loading and unloading supplies and equipment
Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Drive a company truck to pick up and drop off packages/shipments
