About The Position

BILINGUAL SHIPPING AND RECEIVING SUPERVISOR position available at an ~40,000sf non-climate controlled manufacturing warehouse with approx. 30 employees producing polyurethane parts from raw materials. This position will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the parts trimming department, collaborating with QC & Machining, Shipping and Receiving, and maintaining parts and consumable inventories. This position will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring timely and accurate outbound customer shipments and receiving inbound vendor materials while supervising a team of 10 employees or less. The qualifying candidate must be able to complete all work delegated in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Requirements

• 2+ yrs Shipping and Receiving experience
• 2+ yrs Supervisor experience preferred
• Bilingual Required (English/Spanish)
• Forklift experience a plus
• Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs
• Walk, Stand, Stoop, Bend for 8-10 hours/day
• Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
• Work well in a team environment
• Good communication
• Follow company guidelines & procedures
• Attentive to detail
• Excellent Attendance a must
• Reliable transportation
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Pre-employment drug and background screening

Responsibilities

• Supervise 10 or less employees within the Shipping/Receiving dept.
• Assign work to Parts Trimmers and Shipping/Receiving depts. as needed
• Assist in ensuring parts are moving through all Shipping/Receiving departments’ efficiently; Machine shop, trimming, QC
• Ensure accurate and timely shipments to customers
• Review shipping schedules/due dates to ensure deadlines are met
• Count, label, and package parts securely for shipments
• Count, verify, and inspect incoming shipments from vendors
• Distribute received materials to appropriate departments in Warehouse
• Maintain adequate levels of inventory, shipping supplies, and other warehouse supplies
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
• Enforce and follow safety policies
