About The Position

We have an opening for a full time SHIPPING/RECEIVING SUPERVISOR position. Location: 575 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10017. Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm. Requirements

• Previous shipping and receiving experience is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure are maintained.
• Ability to lead and train others.
• Create procedures and organize digital files (not employee files).
• Maintain a hospitality mindset.
• Stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
• Work with pallet jacks, carts, breaking down boxes, etc.
• Invest in hazmat certification and lead a hazardous shipping program.
• Maintain high organization and poise in a high-end environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, PPT, and Word.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
