About The Position

The Materials Supervisor in Training at Royal is responsible for leading and supporting the shipping and receiving teams within the plant. This role is designed for individuals with a supervisory background and experience in shipping and receiving, with a focus on building a strong team and improving processes. The position involves training for several months before taking on independent leadership responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or 3-5 years of solid manufacturing experience
• Experience must include shipping and receiving (hilo driving)
• Current or previous supervisory experience and/or strong leadership skills
• Previous experience working with material systems (i.e., ERP systems)
• Syteline experience is a plus
• Willing and able to work overtime (45-50 hours/week)
• Excellent attendance

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team in the execution of outgoing and incoming shipments
• Inventory control
• Focus on continuous improvement
• Utilize ERP system (Syteline), scanners, and other technology-related products daily
• Prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities within the shipping and receiving teams
