Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Valid Ohio driver's license
  • Intermediate computer skills, Database entry, MS Word, Excel, MS Teams, Outlook, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Unload drums, bag stock, and freight from incoming trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect and verify incoming parts and materials against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assign and affix asset tags to applicable items and update records in accordance with company guidelines or specific instructions.
  • Enter data into the Receiving Report Database for all received samples and items that do not have purchase orders, including imported goods.
  • Package and label containers using approved methods and in full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Review shipping paperwork and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to dispatch.
  • Create shipping labels using appropriate systems and tools.
  • Route orders based on cost-effectiveness and required service levels.
  • Load trucks with prepared items for shipment, ensuring secure and efficient handling.
  • Maintain current knowledge of transportation-related regulatory training and compliance standards.
  • Stock shelves with inventory items in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Perform cycle counts in accordance with the established inventory control program.
  • Pick inventory items and stage them for scheduled maintenance work.
  • Pick and kit parts as directed by the reservation report or maintenance schedule.
  • Issue and return inventory items to and from internal customers, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
  • Accurately perform transactions in SAP related to receiving, shipping, inventory, and other logistics tasks.
  • Handle inquiries and interact professionally with internal customers, vendors, and delivery personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Participate in special projects within the immediate work group as assigned.
  • Follow all site HSES (Health, Safety, Environment, and Security) rules and procedures, and promptly report any unsafe conditions or processes to the supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support departmental and site operations.
