The Shipping and Receiving Specialist will hold a permanent & full-time position and will work for the Champlin, MN plant in collaboration with the other international teams (United-States, Canada, Spain & Mexico).
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in this position
- Reach forklift experience
- Must be able lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs
- Ability to read prints and use a tape measure to check dimensions
- Good knowledge of Excel, Word and general computer skills
- Good memory and capable of multi-tasking
- Be a good team player
- Organizational skills and attention to details.
Responsibilities
- Handle the forklift and pallet jack to unload incoming orders
- Receive incoming orders, and ensure accurate inspection of material
- Measure pipe spools, frames and tanks per drawings/mechanical lists
- Documentation collection of various forms and certificates
- Sort goods to bins and carts per job numbers
- Assure general shop housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the plant
- Support other manufacturing and warehouse functions as required
- Carry out the packaging of shipments, boxing, banding and crating.
