About The Position

Reata Engineering & Machine Works, Inc. (“Reata”), a state-of-the-art contract manufacturer specializing in comprehensive machining and assembly services, is seeking a dependable, hands-on Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support daily logistics and production activities. This role is responsible for packaging and shipping precision machined components, receiving and verifying incoming materials, operating a HEM band saw, supporting light assembly, and performing local pickups and deliveries using company vehicles. This is a cross-functional, high-accountability position supporting our CNC machining operations serving medical and aerospace customers.

Requirements

Valid Colorado Driver’s License
Clean driving record (must meet company insurability requirements)
High school diploma or GED
2+ years experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Strong attention to detail and reliability

Nice To Haves

Experience in manufacturing or CNC machining environment
Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained)
Experience operating band saw or similar equipment
Familiarity with ERP systems

Responsibilities

Package precision machined parts to customer specifications and quality standards
Prepare shipping documentation (packing slips, BOLs, labels, export documentation if required)
Coordinate shipments with UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers
Verify outgoing quantities and revisions against work orders
Ensure proper packaging to prevent damage in transit
Receive raw materials, outside processing parts, and components
Verify quantities and documentation against purchase orders
Label and route materials to appropriate locations
Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP system
Communicate discrepancies to Purchasing or Operations
Perform local pickups and deliveries to customers, vendors, and processors
Safely operate company truck and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Ensure proper load securement and protection of precision parts
Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures
Represent Reata professionally when interacting with customers and vendors
Operate HEM band saw to cut raw material to job requirements
Support light mechanical assembly as needed
Assist with moving material to/from work centers
Maintain clean, organized work areas (5S standards)
