About The Position

Responsible for offloading, staging, validating, labeling and put-away material in the Receiving Department. Responsibilities include accuracy of scanning in and out product, handling of equipment and overall safety needs while operating on the warehouse floor.

Requirements

2+ years Warehouse or Forklift experience
Have up to date OSHA Forklift certification card

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications
Ability to work with a hand-held scanner. SAP
Ability to work in a face pace environment.

Responsibilities

Pick material listed from assigned Pick ticket order and ensure entire order is accurately picked and staged.
Review picked orders for accuracy and completion, pack orders for shipment and update SAP status
Process inbound receipts from external vendors including freight verification, packing list review, SAP receiving and manifest preparation.
Ensure material is handled properly to avoid any damages from occurring. Report out immediately any damaged material discovered for management to review.
Provide backfill support to other departments on an as needed basis.
Attend and comply with all Safety and ISO training in a timely manner.
Demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to Quality Policy, Quality Management System, Customer Focus and Continuous Improvement best practices.
Perform other duties as needed and requested by the department leader.
