We're looking for the best and brightest to take our company to the next level. Due to growth, it has created a need for a 1st Shift Shipping & Receiving Operator. The shift is 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with an occasional Saturday (once every other month). The position comes with a competitive hourly wage, full comprehensive benefits program, 401K retirement program, paid time off and holiday pay. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record (required to operate a forklift and drive the Company vehicle)
  • 1-3 years relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate with management and other personnel
  • Must be able to stand on his/her feet for an extended period of time and must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with a computer and Microsoft products is required.

Responsibilities

  • Insure all incoming materials are properly identified and marked prior to stocking or shipping.
  • Follow work instructions for shipping customer's orders.
  • Work with the ERP system to accurately manage inventory.
  • Fill shelves to create a neat & orderly appearance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Keep all aisles open and clear for maximum safety and efficiency.
  • Pull orders to process for shipment.
  • Use forklift to unload delivered materials, outgoing shipments and movement of items within the warehouse and production facility.
  • Safely drive the Company vehicle to transfer materials between the production facility and warehouse.
  • Acts as the back up to the Materials Handler and Warehouse Lead during absences to ensure the integrity of the SQF system.
  • Responsible for maintaining food safety, employee safety, quality standards and Customer specifications.
  • Report any food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Other duties as assigned
