Escalated in responsibility from Level One, Level Two Shipping / Receiving workers verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments. Verifies information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Correctly Picks up and Delivers property to various locations. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Intermediate Shipping & Receiving Documentation Intermediate level operation of forklift, electric pallet jacks, or other material moving devices Operate all Shipping & Receiving equipment, tools, and computer systems Verify packaging slips Load and unload trucks Perform basic visual inspection of incoming/out coming parts Complete required receiving documentation Interaction with other departments via Microsoft Office suite platforms Suggest safety policies and 6S Cleanliness/Organization Intermediate shipment schedule interaction and process knowledge Determine work priority for Level One Shipping & Receiving employees Prepare loads for pickup Suggest new Shipping & Receiving / Inventory processes Monitor and maintain current inventory levels Perform physical count of inventory Reconciles actual stock count to computer Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction Performs other duties as assigned.
