About The Position

The Shipping & Receiving Helper at Worldwide Oilfield Machine is responsible for performing inspections and tests for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with work orders. This role involves physical tasks such as lifting, loading, and unloading shipments, as well as data entry and inventory management. The position is essential for maintaining the flow of materials and products within the company, contributing to overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of Shipping & Receiving work experience.
• Prior forklift operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve requested products from the warehouse.
• Input all shipments into the computer.
• Ship small parcels via UPS and FedEx.
• Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by the supervisor.
• Count items to ensure that the correct number have been received.
• Match order information in order cards with information on picked items to ensure conformity.
• Coordinate, load, and unload shipments and receipts.
• Assist with audits, inventory, and cycle counts.
• Break down pallets and dispose of cardboard and wrapping material properly.
• Abide by all safety rules and procedures.
• Package and prepare orders for shipment with care.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and/or material to the Supervisor.
