This includes checking packing lists against part numbers and visually identifying parts before loading. The role requires collaboration with customers, transportation, and manufacturing departments, as well as a thorough knowledge of parts and their locations in staging areas. Safety is a key responsibility, as the individual will oversee the safety of up to three partners at any given time and ensure the proper handling and protection of all parts to prevent damage. Compliance with documented procedures and the employee handbook is essential, along with maintaining the quality and quantity of the finished product. The individual will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a team environment, good housekeeping, and performing routine preventative maintenance on associated equipment. The role requires practicing safe working habits and being willing to cross-train and fill in as necessary in other departments.
