The position involves ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all outgoing and incoming shipments. This includes checking packing lists against part numbers and visually identifying parts before loading. The role requires collaboration with customers, transportation, and manufacturing departments, as well as a thorough knowledge of parts and their locations in staging areas. Safety is a key responsibility, as the individual will oversee the safety of up to three partners at any given time and ensure the proper handling and protection of all parts to prevent damage. Compliance with documented procedures and the employee handbook is essential, along with maintaining the quality and quantity of the finished product. The individual will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a team environment, good housekeeping, and performing routine preventative maintenance on associated equipment. The role requires practicing safe working habits and being willing to cross-train and fill in as necessary in other departments.

  • Accurately and completely check all outgoing and incoming shipments as shipped or received.
  • Check packing list against part number and visual identification of parts prior to loading.
  • Work with customers, transportation and manufacturing departments.
  • Locate parts in staging areas, requiring thorough knowledge of parts and their locations.
  • Responsible for the safety of up to three partners at any given time.
  • Handle and protect all parts to prevent damage.

  • Ability to operate crane and become forklift certified.
  • Ability to lift 20-60 pounds.
  • Move material to the correct location per area.
  • Ensure material is tagged correctly.
  • Good verbal communication and written skills.
  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle, following assigned routes and using GPS or maps to navigate.
  • Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring they are securely placed.
  • Deliver parts in a timely and professional manner, interacting with customers and resolving any issues.
  • Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring safety of themselves and the material.
  • Plan efficient routes for deliveries, considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
