Shipping & Receiving Coordinator 2nd Shift
About The Position
As our Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, you will: Lead and coordinator the activities of employees and temps within the department Assign and train and redirect tasks to employees as needed. Ensure the team is working together to meet goals. Give safety tours and make sure safety standards are being met Assist with unloading trucks using forklift and walkie rides as needed to wrap pallets, staging freight Help drivers at the window as needed. Scheduling trucks for pick-ups. Request and enter routing information from customer websites Organize shipping paperwork (BOLs, invoices, packing slips). Verify completed orders prior to shipment and investigate missing parcels needed Discuss production, suggested improvements, and concerns with the Supervisor. This is a hands on Coordinator role, meaning the individual will help in completing shipping and receiving tasks, operator equipment, in addition to other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive outlook shared with others
- Computers programs such as Google, Excel
- Job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and will be standing or walking for the entire duration of your shift
