About The Position

Aerospace Business Units Rexnord Aerospace supplies high performance spherical and cylindrical bearings, mechanical seals, gears and electrical components to commercial air transport markets. Our products are engineered to meet stringent requirements and are specified in engine systems, flight control systems, landing gear systems and airframe structures. Our global customer base includes major engine and airframe OEMs, tier suppliers and aircraft operators. Key Accountabilities Receive, count, verify and ensure accuracy of received goods; materials and items such as various metal bar stock, raw steel, flat stock, and components. Verifies the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders. Verifies that materials received are as ordered. Routes incoming items within the company as directed. Compares identifying information with bills of lading, invoices, orders or records. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in position or specialization.
  • Strong PC skills required
  • Ability to operate trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyers, overhead crane or other handling equipment to move material to and from and within the facility.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
  • Good problem solving skills. Resolving most questions and problems and refer more complex issues to higher levels.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions, with acute attention to detail
  • Fast learner
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Drive for continuous improvement
  • Moderate physical demand required to continuously lift or move raw material. Must be able to lift up to 35-50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using MHE preferred
  • Experience in Fedex, UPS, DHL parcel shipping a plus.
  • Experience using ERP or WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in cycle counting and inventory control.
