Ryder is immediately hiring a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in Lafayette, Indiana. This position involves working in a warehouse environment handling automotive parts and items. The role requires the ability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.   • Check truck drivers in and out
  • Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity according to warehouse direction and vendor assignment
  • Verify accuracy of all shipping/receiving documentation and partner with the inventory department to resolve any issues
  • Assist in appointment scheduling as needed
  • Update required reports on a timely basis
  • Communicate with customers and assist with customer needs
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound loads
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years or more experience in SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization
  • Multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
  • Excellent PC skills in MS Office (intermediate level)
  • SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge (intermediate level)
  • Safety Sensitive Position; may be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified
  • Hourly Pay: $17.25 per hour
  • Overtime Pay: $25.88 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, First Shift 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
