About The Position

This position requires extensive proficiency in warehouse inventory management systems, specifically Dynamics.This position requires lifting up to 55lbs+ regularly This position requires comfortability with long hours on computer as well as sitting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying products.This position requires comfortability in a range of environments from non-climate controlled warehouse, to refrigerated, to freezer environment.This position requires extensive experience in shipping/receiving and inventory management.

Requirements

  • Bilingual communications skills (English and Spanish) preferred
  • Extensive proficiency in warehouse inventory management systems, specifically Dynamics
  • Lifting up to 55lbs+ regularly
  • Comfortability with long hours on computer as well as sitting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying products
  • Comfortability in a range of environments from non-climate controlled warehouse, to refrigerated, to freezer environment
  • Extensive experience in shipping/receiving and inventory management

Responsibilities

  • Assists the leadership team with communication such as: a. Inbound and outbound dispatch notifications b. Meeting notifications c. Shift schedule changes d. Pending items on the shorts report e. Special instructions
  • When receiving: a. Manages the inbound deliveries appointment calendar i. Creates delivery appointments with vendors ii. Updates appointments as necessary and to ensure the delivery schedule is always set for the next delivery day iii. Communicates dock assignments and wait times to delivery truck drivers b. Works with the leadership team to: i. Organize the associates’ workflow ii. Verify bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists against received product iii. Maintain cold-chain logs c. Enters “receivers” into Dynamics, including entering and verifying catch weights and expiration dates d. Works closely with the Replenishment and Product Integrity and Repack teams to ensure accurate receipts and the timely resolution of damages, discrepancies, and other issues i. Proactively communicates issues via phone, email, and text ii. Gathers evidence of products damaged during the receiving process; submits damages reports
  • When shipping: a. Works with the leadership team to: i. Organize the associates’ workflow ii. Handle miscellaneous communication with other departments and locations iii. Handle external communication, especially third-party carriers a. Participates in routing, printing pick and load sheets (associates’ work assignments), and truck/driver/loading area assignments b. Reconciles completed load sheets in Dynamics ­ Enters weights; prints invoices; collates driver paperwork ­ Investigates and verifies product shorts ­ Verifies product catch weights (accuracy, unit of measure) and expiration dates c. Periodically spot-checks (verifies) case versus piece counts ? Ensures product ordered by the case is pulled by the case ? Ensures product ordered by the piece is pulled by the piece
  • Contributes to the team by performing other work as necessary
