About The Position

The Shipping Clerk at 4over is responsible for processing and fulfilling customer orders, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other equipment to manage merchandise. This role involves loading, unloading, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining accuracy and quality in outbound shipments. Requirements

• Minimum of two years related shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Sit-down forklift experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring quantity and accuracy.
• Accurately package, label, and weigh items for shipment, ensuring proper shipping methods and charges.
• Efficiently move product from staging/storage areas into rail cars or trailers.
• Maintain accuracy and quality of outbound shipments, reporting damages and variances as needed.
• Stack and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
• Complete and maintain required paperwork and records.
• Troubleshoot equipment and machinery as necessary.
• Schedule delivery shipments and wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform general housekeeping duties in work areas and adhere to safety policies.
• Attend department/company meetings and perform other assigned duties.
