As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and documenting all incoming materials to ensure accuracy, timely processing, and proper inventory control. This role focuses on receiving functions, including inspecting deliveries, verifying documentation, updating inventory systems, and coordinating the movement of materials to internal departments. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow a career in warehouse or manufacturing operations — no experience is required, and full training will be provided.

Requirements

  • No prior experience required — we will train you.
  • Basic computer skills or willingness to learn inventory/ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to learn and safely operate forklifts/material handling equipment (certification provided).
  • Dependability and strong work ethic.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse or receiving experience (preferred, not required).
  • Forklift certification or past forklift experience (preferred; training available).
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or 5S principles.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments against packing lists, purchase orders, and quality requirements.
  • Document received materials in the inventory or ERP system.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or quality issues.
  • Coordinate with procurement, quality, and production teams regarding material availability.
  • Ensure materials are labeled, staged, and delivered to the appropriate internal locations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (training provided).
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
