About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is a key team member supporting Thomas Global Systems’ operations by ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods. This role is responsible for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing shipping documentation, and supporting internal departments to meet production, repair, and customer delivery requirements. The position operates in a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and receiving environment while adhering to Thomas Global Systems approved procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Regularly scheduled attendance at work is required
  • Previous shipping, receiving, or material control experience in an aerospace or regulated environment preferred
  • Ability to follow approved procedures, work instructions, and quality system requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies affecting compliance or airworthiness
  • Basic knowledge of FAA material handling, traceability, and documentation requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency with inventory systems and excellent Microsoft Excel skills preferred
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and use hands for extended periods
  • Ability to read and understand shipping labels, certifications, and documentation
  • Tolerance for working in a warehouse environment with moderate noise
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Forklift or material handling equipment experience preferred; certification an asset
  • Ability to comply with export control and ITAR requirements

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify aircraft parts, materials, and components against purchase orders and accompanying airworthiness documentation
  • Identify, document, and report nonconforming or damaged materials in accordance with quality and FAA requirements
  • Accurately complete and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records to support traceability and audit readiness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and controlled shipping and receiving area
  • Support internal and external audits as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Comply with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements applicable to an FAA Part 145 repair station
  • Perform inventory transactions, stocking, and cycle counts within the inventory management system for finished goods
  • Coordinate with external shipping companies (FedEx, DHL, UPS) etc. Make sure daily that shipments, depart on time to customers.
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments in compliance with customer requirements, FAA regulations, and export control procedures
  • Ensure proper identification, traceability, and segregation of serviceable, unserviceable, and quarantined materials per approved procedures
