Shipping & Receiving Clerk
About The Position
Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading building envelope solution supplier that effectively drives energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in our Kingman, AZ Plant. The Shipping Clerk’s responsibilities include recording every detail of the order, from packing items into containers to labeling them. They are accountable for ensuring that each shipment gets out in full and on time. Attention to detail is critical to avoiding shipping errors. Standard hours of operation Monday- Friday 8am-5pm with no travel required.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Shipping Clerk or similar role
- Forklift certification
- Ability to work with a team
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions, procedures, and policies
- Ability to lift items and containers up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work different hours throughout the week as needed
- Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Three (3) years of in-house production, shipping, or material handling experience
Responsibilities
- Pulls orders and stages products and/or loads
- Complete PO’s
- Obtain and process product orders accurately, and on time
- Facilitate accurate inventory by ensuring adherence to the local guidelines for shipments and inventory of finished goods and/or packaging and labels.
- Maintain accurate records by computer or other methods
- Prepare regular shipping and receive reports for management
- May assist in investigating inventory discrepancies
- Ensure adherence to environmental management and safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
