About The Position

JOIN US as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk at our Rock Hill facility and we can offer you an opportunity to work in a high-tech, specialist company working with some of the best global names in aerospace, medical, semiconductor and clean energy. We are looking for someone to cover Monday-Friday, 08.30-17.00 (with some flexibility on start/finish times).

Requirements

• The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team-player with some experience working in a manufacturing facility, ideally with exposure to receiving/inventory control.
• You must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk/stand for extended periods of time.
• Due to customer access requirements, you must be a US citizen or existing green card holder.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock inventory for external and internal manufacturing customers.
• Manage all inbound shipments and perform all associated activity for receiving of products.
• Update our internal system with estimated dispatch date changes, and closing of sales orders as items are dispatched.
• Pick, pack, and ship parts, handle all related paperwork, operate a computerized shipping and labelling machine.
• Verify all harmonised tariff schedules and co-ordinate with customs brokers for all overseas shipments.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments, raise damage/lost package complaints and follow-up with customers and/or service engineers on all outgoing shipment details.
• Support creation of purchase requisitions and purchase orders using our MRP system.
