The Shipping/Receiving Clerk supports logistics operations by managing the receipt, inspection, storage, and shipment of materials and equipment. This role ensures compliance with Navy logistics procedures and supports mission readiness through accurate and timely handling of inventory. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling, and documenting materials per Navy and DoD standards. Maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs and inventory records. Coordinate with warehouse staff, logistics personnel, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and dispatch. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely. Ensure proper storage of materials in designated warehouse locations. Support inventory audits and cycle counts. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping/receiving area. Report discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors promptly. Assist with logistics documentation and data entry into Navy logistics systems (e.g., R-Supply, ERP).
