About The Position

We are looking for a committed Shipping and Receiving Clerk. The ideal candidate will oversee all shipping and receiving operations, including cycle counting, within our manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include utilizing our ERP system, operating forklifts, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining material flow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred.
• Prior experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in ERP systems and warehouse management software.
• Valid forklift operator certification with demonstrated safe operation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or defects.
• Prepare shipments, pack items, label packages, and coordinate transportation.
• Accurately record receipts, shipments, and inventory movements using the ERP system.
• Perform regular cycle counts to uphold inventory accuracy.
• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality control teams to coordinate material flow.
• Quickly and effectively resolve shipment discrepancies or inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping and receiving area.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
