Responsibilities

  • Organize the dispatch and delivery of outgoing materials, orders and samples and perform associated tasks in Oracle for shipment of product.
  • Ensure associated packaging of all outgoing shipments meets requirements and regulations for both domestic and international shipments
  • Repack products as necessary following standard repack procedures.
  • Compare identifying information, counts, and weights of items for incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Receive, unload freight both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Properly inspect incoming materials for package integrity (inform manager of rejections/ leakage/ tampering).
  • Procure, log, and inventory retain samples for all incoming raw materials.
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and in proper warehouse location.
  • Distribute incoming packages upon arrival to proper intercompany depts.
  • Follow proper handling procedures of materials and supplies to minimize potential for damage or injury.
  • Follow management instructions to prioritize daily work to meet deadlines for receiving materials and shipping orders and samples.
  • Report to manager on shipping schedules, delays, problems, etc.
  • Maintain the order and cleanliness of the warehouse and keep work areas safe and free of hazardous or dangerous conditions.
  • Adhere to company policy including safety and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
  • Handle any warehouse project assigned
  • Understand and execute all necessary requirements for ISO 9001
  • Remain accountable for all defined responsibilities as defined by ISO 9001 process flows
