About The Position

Shipping/Receiving Clerk must be able to perform at an entry level to pick, pack, and re-label product for shipping purposes. Assists in shipping the product out the door to our customers. Inventory is physically moved and recorded to maintain accurate records. Days and Hours: Monday to Friday, shift availalbe 7:30am -4:00pm, 8:00am - 4:30pm; 8:30am-5:00pm Benefits for Full Time Employees: Salary Range: $17.40/hr - $18.89/hr dependant on expereince Medical, Dental and Vison insurance 401(k) plan with Employer Match Paid Vacation Paid Sick Time Employee Assistance Program

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
1 – 3 months on the job training and or experience related to Shipping and Receiving
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
Requires attention to detail, accuracy is a must
Ability to operate CMS/ERP system effectively
Ability to use stairway ladder
Ability to operate forklift
Ability to operate R.F. (radio frequency) gun
Ability to learn and use new computer programs

Nice To Haves

Vocational / Technical Education or Technical Training Certificate
3 months on the job training and or experience in Shipping and Receiving

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and re-label: Re-label and re-package orders per pick list
Understand CMS / ERP operations, written procedures, and screens required to perform duties
Transfer parts to internal teams as required
Unload and load trucks as needed
Assist with cycle counts
Assist with physical inventory as required
Perform material handling tasks
Other non-essential duties may be assigned as necessary
Follow all relevant Quality and / or Environmental standards to which Fair-Rite is certified
Follow all O.S.H.A. standards and the F/R Safety Health Policy
