About The Position

Summary: The Shipping/Receiving Clerk packs customer parts and ensures all paperwork is in order to ship parts and unpacks, inspects, and stages customer parts for production, and receives all other materials shipped to the site.

Requirements

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; therefore, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident cardholders.
• Education – High School diploma.
• Experience – working experience in a production environment.
• Organized and accurate documentation skills with basic MS Office understanding.

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers’ inventory and, as such, will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
• Use the ERP system to generate documents and perform shipping/receiving functions.
• Review the job folder, inspect, and pack parts being shipped.
• Document all applicable data for parts being shipped per job folder.
• Prepare all appropriate documents to go with the parts as per the job folder.
• Receive deliveries and unpack the product for production.
• Inspect incoming customer parts and verify product count.
• Initiate the job folder and hand it off to production planning.
• Document all applicable data for parts being received per job folder.
• Prepare all appropriate documents to go with the parts as per the job folder.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely shipment and resolve issues.
• Assist the supervisor in developing processes that will improve operations
• Observe all Environment, Health, and Safety Policy requirements.
• Keeping the work area neat and orderly at all times.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Disposal of waste per safety standards.

• Pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.63. Rate will be based on skills and experience.

• 2:15 pm-10:15 pm, Monday through Friday.
