Envirosight is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our Randolph, NJ operations. This role is responsible for the accurate handling, shipping, receiving, and documentation of materials, equipment, and finished goods. The ideal candidate has a strong background in warehouse or logistics operations, is detail-oriented, and understands the importance of accuracy, timeliness, and teamwork in a production environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics
  • Strong understanding of shipping documentation, freight carriers, and inventory control
  • Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
  • Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping instructions accurately
  • Comfortable lifting 25+ pounds and performing physical tasks throughout the workday
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification or prior forklift experience
  • Experience shipping high-value equipment or technical products
  • Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists
  • Inspect received materials for damage and report discrepancies
  • Accurately process receipts and shipments in the inventory or ERP system
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and documentation
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments using approved carriers
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, export requirements, and company procedures
  • Maintain organized inventory storage and staging areas
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.) as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to support on-time delivery
