About The Position
We are looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our manufacturing team. This position handles incoming and outgoing materials and supports production by preparing raw materials for the shop floor.
Requirements
- 1–2 years manufacturing or machining experience required
- Ability to read basic blueprints and production documents
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable using computers and shop systems
Nice To Haves
- Experience with shipping/receiving or warehouse work preferred
Responsibilities
- Package and prepare materials for shipment
- Process packing lists, purchase orders, and job receiving in the computer system
- Receive and verify incoming materials and certifications
- Report damaged or incorrect materials
- Operate metal saw to cut raw stock to required dimensions
- Review production documents and issue materials to the shop floor
- Maintain organized material racks and shipping area
- Use MRP system to track and process work according to schedule
