As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk and part of our Phoenix manufacturing team, your career will put you on the front line of our activities. Requirements

• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented with good communication skills
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Occasional forklift use experience
• Daily parcel shipment familiar with FedEx or UPS

Responsibilities

• Create crate logs which tell our customer what is being received in each crate/box
• Take photos of outbound freight identifying what is being loaded
• Occasional forklift use experience is a plus
• Daily parcel shipment familiar with FedEx or UPS is a plus but not necessary
• Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas
• Operate PB crimp tools, including diagnosis, repair and processing
• Operate the stretch wrap banders
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods
• Support the shipment of goods produced and the goods received and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base
• Make arrangements for pick up by the carrier specified on the customer’s purchase order
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Keep an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
• Make pickups and deliveries to our suppliers for parts and raw materials using a company van
