About The Position

The shipping/receiving clerk will prepare orders for shipment, complete all paperwork, and ensure accuracy of the order to ship. Duties include but are not limited to, receiving in, storing, and distributing all deliveries, as well as stock and restock items in their proper locations as needed. Employees will pick customer orders per pick ticket and ensure the accuracy of selected items and quantities.

Requirements

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Must be able to read shop papers and tape measures.
• Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
• High School Diploma.
• Must have previous forklift experience.
• Hand tool experience (e.g., Pneumatic nail gun).

Responsibilities

• Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Collaborates and communicates with all team members involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
• Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
• Responsible for entering data.
• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Assembles crates for packaging finished goods.
• Performs any additional warehouse duties as necessary.
