About The Position

The Sr Coordinator, Warehouse at US Foods is responsible for supporting inbound, outbound, and general warehouse operations to ensure timely delivery and scheduling of freight. This role focuses on improving warehouse efficiencies and optimizing freight processes, while also training junior clerical teammates and managing various documentation and communication tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse and delivery procedures required.
• Excellent communication both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of intermediate scope.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience in SAE, Truck Builder, Red Prairie, Kronos, Incentive/Component Pay, Road Net, XATA, Shopfax, Tandem, PowerDock, equipment inventories, and warranties.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal warehouse operations by preparing and processing routine forms, reports, and documents.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to support staff and customer needs.
• Collect, track, and input data on relevant operations metrics to support tracking warehouse performance.
• Support in training and developing junior clerical teammates.
• Schedule receiving appointments with vendors for all inbound freight according to warehouse capacities.
• Manage inbound freight processes by performing inbound driver check-in and check-out.
• Ensure warehouse readiness for receiving by assigning receiving doors for inbound carriers.
• Support warehouse functions by checking returns and credit slips and assembling returned orders.
• Interact with warehouse personnel to solve selecting and shipping issues.
• Complete outbound paperwork and reports.
