About The Position

In this exciting role as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk II you will be responsible for maintaining the movement and organizing of inventory within the warehouse. Requirements

  • Requires minimum of 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Kitting material work orders for the shop floor to start manufacturing.
  • Replenish inventory stocking locations within the warehouse and manufacturing floor.
  • Perform inventory verification and reconciliation through cycle counting and physical inventory.
  • Use computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
  • Perform a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.
  • Follow shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.
  • Receive incoming materials or prepare materials for shipment.
  • (Un)pack or (un)wrap items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
  • Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; log receipt of items on system, process freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; report materials shipped and bills of lading; post weight and shipping charges and route merchandise to destinations.
  • Learn and safely operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, powered pallet jacks, personnel lifts, pallet wrappers, etc.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of warehouse and shipping dock spaces.
