About The Position

Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, prepare, ship and receive LTL (Less Than Truckload) and small shipments from Tech Center departments. Utilize various packaging and creating materials appropriate for the items shipped including building pallets and crates as needed. Create shipping orders and labeling using freight companies’ online tools. Receive and distribute shipments, including deliveries using a forklift. Organize packaging area including ordering supplies as needed. Preparing all necessary documentation, including periodic international LTL or Small Package shipments. Developing and maintaining a system for accurate inventory records for tracking receipt and delivery to internal customers. Proactive monitoring and action with carriers for any shipments en route to facility. Have basic functionality of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel. Must be able to operate standard office equipment. Have a valid driver’s license and operate motor vehicle. Must complete U-Haul forklift certification.
