About The Position
The individual who functions in this position must carry out all of the functions associated with being a Production Associate. To qualify, an individual must be able to perform all of the following: Visually inspect material to determine defects and notify quality control for sign off. Prepare all completed orders for shipment including - Counting, wrapping, skidding, labeling and securing in accordance with customer requirements with particular attention to due date and company procedure and loading trucks. Verify type and quantity of material against shop order and process all required paperwork on a timely basis. Assist in tool production including assisting machine technicians and others in performing job requirements. Assist in operation of Degreaser. Banding, crating, lifting, and Paccar packing work
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Requires ability to operate or learn to operate all types of handling equipment or tool production equipment used by the company.
- 1-year experience as forklift driver.
- Moderate supervision required after initial training period.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in using packaging material equipment or other machines preferred.
