To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Shipping and Receiving Clerk located in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipment activities. Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or any related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented skills.
• Solid organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department per company policy.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Stages received material and product in appropriate location.
• Creates shipping and receiving receipts within system.
• Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier.
• Loads and unloads deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks in a safely manner.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
