About The Position

Home Run Inn Pizza is looking for an experienced and reliable teammate to join the Shipping/Receiving Team for a 2nd shift job at our Frozen Pizza Factory in Woodridge, IL! Position Summary: Perform duties to move, ship and receive materials throughout Home Run Inn’s Food Production Facility. Schedule: Monday-Friday from 3pm-midnight. At times it may be more than 8 hours depending on business needs. Saturday if scheduled Production. Sunday, if we have dough production, and everyone takes a turn the hours are 5am to 2pm. Must be able to occasionally work 1st shift hours on occasion based on department needs (6am-2:30pm)

Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and lift to 50lbs for extended periods.
Able to Speak, Read, and Understand English.
Must be able to use assigned equipment. (Forklifts)
Able to stand for majority of scheduled shift. (8+hours)

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse experience preferred.
Experience operating a Forklift (Certifications preferred)
RF Scanning Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

Follow all safety, quality and service requirements.
Safely use stand up forklift, hand pallet jacks, lift platforms, carts and dollies
Review picklist and deliver materials to production.
Utilize ERP and scan gun to receive, transfer and perform inventory transactions.
Review and pick customer orders on time with minimum errors.
Prepare customer orders for shipping by labeling and tagging the materials.
Audit outbound loadouts to ensure order accuracy.
Notify supervisor when established inventory levels are low.
File paperwork according to HRI document retention policy.
Maintain all warehouse assigned areas clean and within safety guidelines.
Participate in continuous improvements such as Gemba walks, Kaizen and other related activities.
Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
