We are currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our Parts Department. Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and packages (up to 50 lbs.).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments and maintaining inventory.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification is a plus (but not required).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Accurately process and document all incoming and outgoing parts and accessories shipments.
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicles using necessary equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Organize and store parts and accessories in designated areas, ensuring items are properly labeled and easily accessible.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe parts warehouse.
- Coordinate with the Parts Counter team and Service Department to ensure timely parts delivery and efficient inventory management.
- Prepare and package parts for shipment, including accurate labeling and proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Conduct routine inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure stock levels are accurate and properly maintained.
- Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory issues to the Parts Manager.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to maintain efficient operations and excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies regarding shipping and warehouse operations.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Assisting with front counter sales.
