About The Position
We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Shipping & Receiving Associate to support material flow within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring production and shipments stay on schedule. If you take pride in staying organized, supporting operations, and keeping things moving, this is a strong opportunity in a hands-on manufacturing setting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in shipping/receiving or material handling in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic computer skills; ERP experience a plus
- Ability to read and understand shipping and receiving documents
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to be trained)
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- ERP system (D365 preferred)
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to be trained)
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, inspect for damage, and verify quantities
- Unload trucks and move materials to production or storage areas
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments
- Label, palletize, and prepare materials for shipment
- Enter and track transactions in ERP system (D365 preferred)
- Maintain organized material storage areas to support production flow
- Assist with inventory and cycle counts
- Communicate shortages, damages, or discrepancies to leadership
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use material handling equipment
