Responsibilities

  • Coordinates all packaging and shipping.
  • Receives all material, processes paperwork, and delivers material to proper departments.
  • Deliver and pick up Parker HSD material at supplier locations.
  • Support Production Control by performing loading and packaging functions within the plant.
  • Works with minimum supervision.
  • Organizes work to be done in shipping and receiving areas as directed.
  • Processes all shipping documents, verifies and signs all incoming freight bills.
  • Traces shipments when required.
  • Packages shipments in proper containers.
  • Schedules incoming/outgoing transportation.
  • Responsible for inventory and ordering shipping supplies; cartons, boxes, etc., when approved by supervisor.
  • Verifies supplier counts from packing slips, records proper part number and purchase order number onto proper documents.
  • Delivers incoming packages or materials to their destinations within the plant.
  • Loads and unloads trucks.
  • Delivers and picks up parts as scheduled by Production Control.
  • Completes daily trip reports and expense reports as required.
  • Participates in 'continuous improvement' activities/efforts with the classification/department.
