About The Position

Joined Alloys is seeking a reliable and motivated Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. This position plays a critical role in transporting materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated locations while ensuring smooth coordination of in-process materials across departments.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• General knowledge of industrial equipment
• Basic understanding of measuring tools (tape measures, micrometers, etc.)
• Experience using a wide range of power tools
• Forklift experience required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset with cross-department collaboration
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand and walk for 8–10 hours per shift
• Frequent lifting and/or moving of objects up to 50 pounds
• Manual dexterity and grip strength to safely use hand and power tools
• Ability to crawl, bend, and perform physical tasks as needed
• Frequent communication with team members
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
• Must wear company-approved safety glasses in plant and warehouse areas

Responsibilities

• Manage the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies
• Coordinate internal movement of in-process materials and finished goods
• Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders
• Track, trace, and update the status of outgoing shipments
• Collaborate with logistics, customer service, service providers, and other departments
• Maintain accurate daily logs, scan inventory, and perform cycle counts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-ready work area
• Engage professionally and positively with vendors and drivers
• Provide backup support for warehouse operations as needed
