About The Position

As a Trex Shipping & Receiving Assistant you’ll be providing support for inbound and outbound shipping activities. A member of our Logistics Team, you’ll be helping us manage key functions for outbound deliveries and inbound shipments. DUTIES Schedule and monitor shipping and delivery appointments for all inbound shipments and outbound deliveries. Integrate purchase orders into J.D. Edwards. Serve as primary point of contact between Trex and transportation providers. Prepare outbound sales orders and customs paperwork. Resolve customer service issues pertaining to released sales orders. Maintain records, both hard copy and electronically to meet Trex’s data retention policies. Manage inventory as it applies to finished goods and daily cycle counts. EXPERIENCE A high school degree is required, along with two or more years’ previous experience in an administrative or logistical role is preferred, but if you’ve worked as a warehouse clerk or handled shipping requirements for domestic and international carriers, you’re Trex material for sure. Requirements

A high school degree is required
