About The Position

Ensure proper packaging of the parts according to contract, carrier and customer specifications. Able to read and understand contracts and specifications. Work in customer portals to ship items as required by contract and customer requirements Inspect and check all paperwork for accuracy prior to shipping any parts. Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met. Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Work with various departments, especially scheduling, to communicate schedule requirements for on-time shipment. Coordinate with packagers. Maintain customer relations. Package materials as required by customer specifications. Examine contents and compare with records, such as invoices, to verify accuracy of outgoing shipments.

Requirements

• Must be able to use common office software systems, computer operations relative to data entry and ERP system.
• Royal forklift certification required.
• Strong communications skills.
• Able to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Takes initiative to find other duties when assigned tasks are completed.
