The Shipping/ Packaging Specialist is Technifab's last line of defense before items are shipped to the customer. Qualified applicants must be very meticulous and detail oriented to assure the customer is getting a product that meets or exceeds their expectations. Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand drawings, bill of materials, cutlists, inspection procedures, manufacturing manual procedures, etc.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using saws and other power tools a plus
- Carpentry skills a plus
Responsibilities
- Performing visual and dimensional inspections
- Applying the correct decals as required per drawing and inspection procedure
- Etching or engraving identification of items as required
- The use of inspection tools: (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Verifying process travelers and job packets, all items completed and signed off
- Ensuring product is packaged appropriately for protection
- Following Technifab safety guidelines
- Taking pictures of finished products in their shipping containers
- Performing all other duties as directed by supervisor
