The Shipping/ Packaging Specialist is Technifab's last line of defense before items are shipped to the customer. Qualified applicants must be very meticulous and detail oriented to assure the customer is getting a product that meets or exceeds their expectations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand drawings, bill of materials, cutlists, inspection procedures, manufacturing manual procedures, etc.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using saws and other power tools a plus
  • Carpentry skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Performing visual and dimensional inspections
  • Applying the correct decals as required per drawing and inspection procedure
  • Etching or engraving identification of items as required
  • The use of inspection tools: (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Verifying process travelers and job packets, all items completed and signed off
  • Ensuring product is packaged appropriately for protection
  • Following Technifab safety guidelines
  • Taking pictures of finished products in their shipping containers
  • Performing all other duties as directed by supervisor
