In this role, you’ll ensure all finished products are packaged, staged, and shipped accurately and on time while leading a team dedicated to safety, quality, and efficiency. Requirements

2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role
3+ years of experience in shipping, packaging, or warehouse operations
Strong understanding of outbound logistics, packaging standards, and shipping documentation
Proficient in warehouse management and ERP systems (WMS, QuickBase, or similar)
Self-motivated leader who can set priorities, delegate tasks, and manage shifting workloads effectively
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver heavier items with assistance

Responsibilities

Oversee daily picking, packaging, staging, and shipping operations to fulfill all scheduled orders accurately and on time
Communicate workload goals, staffing plans, and order priorities to maintain an efficient workflow
Coordinate outbound shipments with the Department Manager, ensuring deadlines are met with accurate labeling, documentation, and routing
Collaborate with Warehouse, Inventory Control, and Production teams to align finished goods availability, staging accuracy, and shipping readiness
Lead, coach, and support team members, including forklift and cherry picker operators, while maintaining strong performance, attendance, and safety standards
Train and onboard employees on packaging procedures, order picking, equipment operation, and system workflows within WMS, ERP, and QuickBase
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
Ensure all material-handling equipment is maintained, operated safely, and serviced as scheduled
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Lead daily team huddles and join weekly leadership meetings to review metrics, discuss challenges, and recommend process improvements
